This landmark exhibition of 60 works from across Canada will be one of the most extensive exhibition of this iconic group of artists. On Sunday February 28th, 1:00 - 4:00 Ila will present a wordshop: Horizons and Post Marks! presented in partnership with Jennart Studios. The workshop will undertake two creative projects using folding, scaping, rubbing, chopping, smudging, gravittation and rotation. Read more >>

Ila’s painting “Spirit” continues to tour Latvia from its home gallery in Valmiera. It will be exhibited in Riga, Latvia from August 6th - September 6th, 2009 and then begins its international venue in Lithuania. 

Ila will be having a solo show at the Flesherton Art Gallery beginning Saturday March 28th - May 9th, 2009. Curator is Mr. David Turner.

Ila continues her support of community initiatives in the MacLaren Art Centre’s Benefactor Art Exchange Program. She donated another painting to this program in 2009.
